What is IBM doing at MongoDB World 2016?
There is going to be a ton of fantastic topics covered by some great industry leaders. We know that conference schedules can seem overwhelming at times. So we wanted to point out a few key ways that you can connect with and learn from IBM.
1. The keynote presentation with Ross Mauri:
Ross Mauri has been with IBM for over three decades and has served in various technology executive roles. Currently, he is the General Manager for z Systems. Join him on the morning of Tuesday, June 28 where he will discuss the changing nature of enterprise databases and the trends his organization sees in the growing shift to open source technology.
2. Day one poster sessions from 2:45 to 4:45pm:
Poster sessions provide an interactive way to share results from research, development, and innovative uses for technology. They will be in the West Promenade on the 3rd floor. Hiroshi Horii is a researcher for IBM based in Tokyo. He will present MongoTx: A MongoDB Transaction Management System.
3. Day two lunch and learn:
Join Keshav Ranganathan in Concourse D for food and a panel discussion on how IBM clients are taking advantage of infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability for their MongoDB deployments. This is a fantastic opportunity to discuss real-world use cases. Keshav is a Portfolio Offering Manager at IBM for Big Data and Analytics Power Systems Solutions.
4. Partner Summit on Monday, June 27:
Are you attending the Partner Summit? Come hear from Terri Virnig as she discusses how IBM and MongoDB joint partners are getting excited to deliver emerging solutions running on modern platforms. Terri is an IBM veteran who has held multiple executive positions. Currently, she is the VP of Power Ecosystem and Strategy.
5. Make sure you visit the booth:
IBM will be easy to spot in the exhibition hall. We will be conveniently located in Booth #1. Our team will demonstrate solutions, answer questions, and serve as a great place to network. We love to hear how innovative organizations are using MongoDB to create incredible solutions.
